Common name: Burnet Saxifrage
Latin name: Pimpinella Saxifraga
Description: Burnet Saxifrage is tolerant of a range of soils, though preferring drier, calcareous ground. It is also a hardy plant, being frost-tender, and so is found throughout the UK, reaching elevations of 810m in Snowdonia and the Lake District. Highly nutritious for sheep and cattle.

Management: A second flowering can often be encourage through the cutting of faded flowers.
