Description

Mouse-ear Hawkweed (Pilosella officinarum) is a low-growing perennial reaching 15–30 cm tall. It produces bright yellow, dandelion-like flowers from May to September. The soft, grey-green, hairy leaves give it its common name, and the plant spreads via creeping stolon’s, forming small mats. It thrives in meadows, grasslands, roadsides, and coastal cliffs across the UK. Its flowers attract bees, hoverflies, and butterflies, while its hardy nature and drought tolerance make it valuable for wildflower plantings and naturalistic habitats.

Our Mouse-ear Hawkweed plug plants for sale are priced per plant. This product has a minimum quantity of 10 plug plants. For orders over 500 plug plants please contact us.

All our plants are native British wildflowers grown in Peat-free compost in our sustainable nursery.
