Description

Common Rock-rose (Helianthemum nummularium) is widespread across England, southern and eastern Scotland, and most of Wales, but it is largely absent from Ireland. The plant thrives on grasslands and broken, rocky ground, particularly in chalk and limestone areas. It often grows in dense clusters and produces bright yellow flowers that attract many species of bees. Helianthemum nummulariumalso serves as a food plant for several butterflies, including the Brown Argus, Green Hairstreak, and the rare Silver-studded Blue. Its dense growth, vivid blooms, and ecological importance make it a key species in wildflower-rich grasslands and pollinator-friendly habitats.

Our Common Rock Rose plug plants for sale are priced per plant. This product has a minimum quantity of 10 plug plants. For orders over 500 plug plants please contact us.
