Musk Mallow (Malva moschata) is a perennial wildflower that favours dry soils and open habitats, including grasslands, scrub, hedgebanks, and pastures across the UK and Ireland, though it is less common in northern regions. From July, it produces pale pink to white flowers with a distinctive musky scent. The plant grows in clumps of soft, green foliage and attracts bees and butterflies. Malva moschata adds colour, fragrance, and ecological value to meadows, naturalistic gardens, and semi-wild landscapes.
