Description

Bloody Crane’s-bill (Geranium sanguineum) prefers lime-rich soils and is common along coastal areas, where it grows on cliffs, rocky slopes, and sand dunes. It also appears further inland on limestone pavements. The plant produces solitary, brightly coloured flowers that contrast beautifully with its dark, lobed leaves. Its vibrant blooms attract pollinators and add striking colour to wild landscapes. With its hardy growth and eye-catching flowers, it is a valuable addition to meadows, coastal gardens, and rocky habitats.
