Description

Common Mallow (Malva sylvestris) produces many pink to purple flowers. It grows across most of the UK, except the northernmost parts of Scotland. The plant is common on road verges, waysides, and woodland edges. Flower spikes can reach 1.5 m and bloom from summer into autumn. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers, making it both colourful and valuable for wildlife.

It was valued for its high mucilage content, which historical practitioners relied upon to soothe inflamed respiratory tracts and digestive linings.

Our Common Mallow plants for sale are priced per plant. For orders over 500 plants please contact us.
