Description

Woodruff (Galium odoratum) is a low-growing, herbaceous perennial that forms a carpet of plants in shaded or woodland areas. Its whorled, lance-shaped green leaves create an attractive star-like pattern along the stems. Additionally complemented by clusters of delicate, white, star-shaped flowers that bloom in late spring to early summer. The plant is well known for its sweet, hay-like fragrance, which intensifies when dried. Its aromatic quality has long been used in traditional crafts, potpourri, and natural room scenting. Woodruff thrives in moist, humus-rich soils and is an excellent choice for ground cover beneath trees, along woodland edges, or in shaded borders where it adds texture, scent, and gentle seasonal colour.

Our Woodruff plug plants for sale are priced per individual plant. This product has a minimum quantity of 3 pot plants. For orders over 500 plug plants please contact us.

All our plants are native British wildflowers grown in Peat free compost in our sustainable nursery.
