Herb-Robert (Geranium robertianum) is a delicate perennial of the Crane’s-bill family, producing small pink to purple flowers. It grows in a wide range of habitats, including woodlands, hedgerows, rocky outcrops, scree slopes, and coastal areas. The plant forms low, spreading clumps that provide ground cover and attract pollinators such as bees and hoverflies. Geranium robertianum adds subtle colour and texture to both natural and semi-natural landscapes.
Historically was used as an early antiseptic and was applied to staunch blood flow on open wounds.
