Description

Snakeshead fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris) produce pretty, pendant, white and pinkish-purple bells with distinctive checkerboard markings on slender stems. This plant is rare to uncommon in the wild, inhabiting only a few damp, protected meadows mainly in central and southern England
