Description

Pignut (Conopodium majus) is a slender perennial topped with flat-topped umbels of small white flowers. It grows throughout the UK, particularly in south-east England, the Midlands, and the south of Ireland. The plant prefers well-drained, lime-poor soils and thrives in hedge banks, open woodlands, and healthy grasslands. Blooming in late spring to early summer, Pignut attracts bees, hoverflies, and other pollinators, while its small underground tubers provide food for wildlife. Its delicate flowers and fine foliage add subtle charm to meadows and semi-natural habitats.

Our Pignut plug plants for sale are priced per plant. This product has a minimum quantity of 10 plug plants. For orders over 500 plug plants please contact us.

All our plants are native British wildflowers grown in Peat-free compost in our sustainable nursery.
