Description

Oxlip (Primula elatior) has a pale yellow flower with five petals and dark green oval leaves which are wrinkled in appearance. Outside of Suffolk; Cambridgeshire, and Essex, oxlip only grows in a few parts of East Anglia. It favours nutrient-poor and calcium-rich soil and thrives in wet meadows and woodlands. In Britain, oxlips are considered to be a rare species that is on the danger of becoming extinct.

Our Oxlip plug plants for sale are priced per plant. This product has a minimum quantity of 10 plug plants. For orders over 500 plug plants please contact us.

All our plants are native British wildflowers grown in Peat-free compost in our sustainable nursery.
