Description

Oregano Greek (Origanum vulgare) forms a low growing, spreading perennial with dense, aromatic foliage. This plant reaches around 30 centimetres tall and has tiny, purple pink flowers that appear in summer, attracting pollinators. It thrives in full sun with well drained, moderately fertile soil. Additionally, the plant tolerates drought and poor conditions once established. Regular trimming encourages new growth and maintains shape. Its textured leaves release a strong, fragrant aroma when handled. Greek oregano adds structure, colour, and resilience to borders, rockeries, and container plantings.

All our plants are native British herbs are grown in Peat free compost in our sustainable nursery.
