Fennel green (Foeniculum vulgare) Herb

Fennel Green (Foeniculum vulgare) grows as a tall, feathery perennial with fine, thread like foliage. This plant reaches around 120-150 centimetres tall. In summer, it produces umbrella shaped clusters of small yellow flowers. Which in summer attracts pollinators and other insects like hoverflies. It thrives in sunny areas with well drained, fertile soil.  Regular trimming encourages bushy growth and prevents legginess.
