Description

Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) is a bushy perennial with soft, bright green leaves. This plant reaches around 60-80 centimetres tall. In summer, it produces small, pale yellow flowers that attract pollinators. It thrives in full sun or light shade and prefers well drained, fertile soil. Additionally, regular trimming keeps the plant compact and encourages fresh growth. Stems spread gently, filling garden borders or containers with lush foliage. The leaves release a refreshing, citrusy aroma when touched. Melissa officinalis adds texture, colour, and a lively, aromatic presence to any planting scheme.

All our plants are native British herbs are grown in Peat free compost in our sustainable nursery.
