Description

Yellow Water Lily (Nuphar lutea) is a robust perennial aquatic plant found in still or slow-moving freshwater habitats such as ponds, lakes, and gentle rivers. It features broad, floating, heart-shaped leaves that create a dense canopy on the water’s surface. Providing shelter for aquatic wildlife and helping to reduce algae growth. Its distinctive, bright yellow, cup-shaped flowers rise just above the water from late spring to early autumn. Additionally attracting insects with their subtle, earthy fragrance. Well adapted to deep, muddy substrates, Nuphar lutea brings bold structure, seasonal colour, and valuable habitat support to natural and ornamental water bodies.
