Description

Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) is a tall, elegant perennial with clusters of fragrant, creamy-white flowers that bloom from June to September. It typically reaches 3-5 feet in height and grows best in damp meadows, ditches, riverbanks, and other moist soils across the UK. The plant’s sweet scent fills the air on warm summer days, attracting bees, hoverflies, and other pollinators. Its feathery flower heads and deep green leaves add texture and charm to natural planting schemes and traditional wildflower meadows. Meadowsweet has long been valued for both its beauty and its traditional use in herbal remedies.

Was used traditionally to soothe stomach discomfort, acid reflux, and general joint pain, prior to modern understandings of its aspirin-like compounds.

Our Meadowsweet plants for sale are priced per plant. For orders over 500 plants please contact us.
