Description

Greater Tussock-sedge (Carex paniculata) is a robust, clump forming sedge. It has dense, tufted foliage and tall, slender stems topped with brownish spikelet’s. The plant thrives in wet, boggy areas, marshes, and along riverbanks. Its strong, upright growth adds texture and structure to naturalistic landscapes. The sedge also provides shelter for insects and small wildlife, making it an ecologically valuable addition to wetland habitats.
