Flowering Rush (Butomus umbellatus) is an elegant aquatic perennial with long, triangular, twisted leaves that can reach over 100 cm in length. In summer, it produces striking clusters of soft pink flowers arranged in an umbrella-like shape. Each bloom features six delicate petals, nine stamens, and six pistils. Found along the edges of rivers, lakes, and ponds, Butomus umbellatus adds height, colour, and structure to wetland habitats.
