Greater Spearwort (Ranunculus lingua) is a tall, moisture loving perennial found in wetlands, marshes, and along pond margins across Europe. It features lance-shaped leaves and striking yellow, buttercup-like flowers that bloom in summer. Growing up to 60cm tall, it thrives in shallow water or wet soils, making it ideal for wildlife ponds and wetland restoration. Ranunculus lingua supports pollinators and contributes to healthy aquatic ecosystems.
