Description

Tufted Vetch (Vicia cracca) is a scrambling perennial that thrives in damp, fertile soils. It grows along hedgerows, riverbanks, track edges, and woodland margins throughout the UK and Ireland. The plant produces clusters of purple flowers that attract bumblebees, butterflies, and moths. Its vigorous, climbing habit adds colour and structure to meadows, hedgerows, and naturalised habitats.
