Description

Small Teasel (Dipsacus pilosa) is a distinctive biennial wildflower with tall, prickly stems and spherical flower heads. Its pale lilac to white blooms appear from midsummer, surrounded by spiny bracts that create a striking architectural feature. The plant thrives in damp grasslands, woodland edges, and hedgerows, attracting bees and butterflies. Dipsacus pilosa adds texture, structure, and ecological interest to wildflower meadows, gardens, and naturalistic landscapes.
