Description

Reflexed Stonecrop (Sedum reflexum) is a hardy, low-growing perennial. With succulent blue-green foliage and clusters of bright yellow, star-shaped flowers from June to August. Its drought tolerance and spreading habit make it an excellent choice for rockeries, green roofs, dry banks, gravel gardens and habitat restoration projects on free-draining soils.

Thriving in poor, well-drained soils, Reflexed Stonecrop performs best in full sun and is well suited to exposed locations where many other plants struggle. Its evergreen foliage provides year-round interest. While its mat-forming growth habit helps suppress weeds and stabilise dry, rocky ground.

The nectar-rich flowers attract bees, hoverflies, butterflies and other pollinating insects. Making it a valuable addition to pollinator-friendly planting schemes. It is ideal for ecological landscaping, green infrastructure projects, and naturalistic planting where a resilient, low-maintenance species is required.
