Night-flowering Catchfly (Silene noctiflora) is an annual wildflower with pale pink to white blooms that open in the evening. It grows in open, disturbed soils, such as arable fields and roadside verges. The flowers release a sweet fragrance at night, attracting moths and other nocturnal pollinators. Silene noctiflora adds subtle colour and ecological interest to natural and semi-natural landscapes.
