Cornflower (Centaurea cyanus) is a striking annual wildflower often found in arable fields and disturbed soils across the UK. It features vibrant blue, thistle-like flowers that bloom from late spring to early autumn, attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Once common in traditional farmland, Cornflower is now a valuable species in wildflower meadows and conservation seed mixes.
