Bog Myrtle (Myrica gale) is a small, aromatic deciduous shrub that grows well in wet, acidic soils and damp heathlands. Its slender branches carry glossy, dark green leaves that release a spicy fragrance when crushed. In spring, the plant produces yellowish catkins that attract early pollinators. It forms dense clumps that provide shelter for wildlife and contributes to the structure and biodiversity of bogs and wetlands.
Our Bog Myrtle plug plants for sale are priced per individual plant. This product has a minimum quantity of 10 plug plants. For orders over 500 plug plants please contact us.
All our plants are native British wildflowers grown in Peat free compost in our sustainable nursery.
