Oblong-leaved sundew (Drosera intermedia) is a small perennial carnivorous plant found in acidic bogs, wet heaths, and damp sandy soils. It forms rosettes of sticky, narrow leaves that trap insects to supplement its nutrient intake. Red and green flowers on slender stems from June to September. A rare and fascinating bog specialist, it contributes to the unique biodiversity of wetland habitats.
