Description

Water Forget-me-not (Myosotis scorpioides), once called Scorpion-grass, is a perennial wetland plant. Its curled clusters of sky-blue flowers resemble a scorpion’s tail. It grows in fens, marshes, and ponds, either submerged or along the water’s edge. Widespread across the UK and Ireland, its flowers attract bees, hoverflies, and other pollinators, adding colour and wildlife value to wetland habitats.
