Description

Reedmace (Typha latifolia) is a tall, aquatic perennial commonly found in wetlands across the UK. It can grow up to 2.5 meters tall, with long, slender green leaves and distinctive cylindrical brown flower spikes. Flowering from June to August, Reedmace provides shelter and nesting sites for birds, while its flowers attract bees and other insects. Its dense stands stabilise muddy banks and add structure, texture, and year-round interest to ponds, ditches, and marshy habitats.

Our Reedmace plug plants for sale are priced per plant. This product has a minimum quantity of 10 plug plants. For orders over 500 plug plants please contact us.

All our plants are native British wildflowers grown in Peat-free compost in our sustainable nursery.
