Maiden Pink (Dianthus deltoides) is a low-growing, mat-forming wildflower with bright pink flowers. It thrives in dry, well-drained soils with little competition, often on stony ground and sloping hillsides. The plant adds vibrant colour and texture to grasslands, meadows, and open habitats across the UK. Its flowers attract bees and other pollinators, making Dianthus deltoides both visually appealing and ecologically valuable.
