Description

Maiden Pink (Dianthus deltoides) is a colourful native perennial wildflower that produces vibrant deep pink flowers with white speckles from June to September. Its compact growth and long flowering season bring lasting colour to wildflower meadows, banks, and natural planting schemes.

This species thrives in dry, well-drained soils and grows best in full sun. It naturally occurs in grasslands, heaths, coastal slopes, and open rocky habitats across the UK. As a result, it is an excellent choice for meadow creation, habitat restoration, and conservation projects.

The nectar-rich flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinating insects throughout the summer. Additionally, its low-growing habit makes it ideal for the front of wildflower displays and species-rich grasslands. The dense foliage also helps create attractive ground cover in suitable conditions.

Our Maiden Pink plants for sale are priced per plant. For orders over 500 plants please contact us.
