Description

Carnation Sedge (Carex panicea) is a perennial sedge native to damp meadows, fens, and marshes across the UK. It grows in loose clumps with slender, blue-green leaves and sends up upright stems topped with small brownish flower spikes in late spring to early summer. The plant prefers moist soils ranging from acidic to neutral and thrives in unspoiled wetland habitats. Carnation Sedge supports a variety of insects and other wildlife, making it an important contributor to biodiversity. Its delicate structure and subtle coloration also add texture and interest to natural wetland landscapes.

Our Carnation sedge plug plants for sale are priced per plant. This product has a minimum quantity of 10 plug plants. For orders over 500 plug plants please contact us.
