Description

Bladder Campion (Silene vulgaris) is fairly widespread across the UK, though it is mostly absent from western Scotland and northern Ireland. The plant thrives in open grasslands, dry banks, and cultivated areas, particularly along rocky field margins. Its distinctive white flowers have a unique inflated calyx and release their strongest scent at dusk. This fragrance attracts night-flying moths, which serve as the plant’s main pollinators. Bladder Campion’s delicate blooms and subtle aroma make it a charming feature of wild meadows, roadside verges, and less-disturbed rural landscapes.

Our Bladder Campion plants for sale are priced per plant. For orders over 500 plants please contact us.
