Lady’s Bedstraw (Galium verum) is a beautiful native perennial wildflower that produces masses of fragrant, bright yellow flowers from June to September. Its fine foliage and upright stems add vibrant colour and texture to wildflower meadows, grasslands, and natural planting schemes.
This species thrives in well-drained, low-fertility soils and grows best in full sun. It naturally occurs in hay meadows, chalk grasslands, coastal dunes, roadside verges, and banks across the UK. As a result, it is an excellent choice for meadow creation, habitat restoration, and conservation projects.
