Description

English Bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) are one of the most enchanting sights of the British Isles. Each spring, woodlands come alive with their dense, violet-blue carpets. These bulbs prefer well-drained soils in woodlands, scrub, pastures, heaths, and even along sea-cliffs.

Our English Bluebells are true UK native plants, grown from seed collected either from our own native woodland or from woodlands we partner with. We guarantee that every Bluebell bulb is a genuine native species. The bulbs are three years old and vary slightly in size and shape, usually around 18-25 mm in length. We begin monitoring our bulb areas in early August and lift them for dispatch in late August or early September.

Please note: bulbs planted in autumn may not flower the following spring. They may produce green leaves in the first year but will flower the next season. With patience, these bluebells will return year after year, creating a stunning woodland display.

Price quoted per bulb. This product has a minimum quantity of 20 bulbs. For orders over 2000 Bluebells please contact us as we can arrange bespoke quotations.

All our plants are native British wildflowers grown from wild seed in our sustainable peat free nursery.
