Description

Cowberry (Vaccinium vitis-idaea), also known as Lingonberry , is a low-growing evergreen shrub with glossy, dark green leaves that remain attractive year-round. It produces clusters of bell-shaped pinkish-white flowers in spring, followed by bright red, edible berries in late summer and autumn. The plant thrives in acidic, well-drained soils and is ideal for woodland gardens, heathlands, and rockeries. Lingonberry also attracts pollinators and adds year-round interest with its foliage and colourful fruit.
