Water Figwort (Scrophularia auriculata) is a perennial herb with rounded leaves edged in white. It thrives in damp conditions and is commonly found along riverbanks, pond margins, marshes, damp woodlands, and meadows. From June to September, it produces clusters of maroon flowers that attract bees, hoverflies, and other pollinators, adding both colour and ecological value to wetland habitats.
