It thrives in wetlands, along pond edges, rivers, and marshes across the UK. The plant provides excellent cover for birds and small wildlife, while its seeds and stems offer food and habitat for a variety of species. Typha angustifolia adds structure, height, and ecological value to wetland landscapes.
