One of the most magnificent spectacles of the British Isles is its woodlands, blanketed with bluebells in the springtime. The signs of Scottish bluebell appearing in our woods is a sure sign that Spring is upon us. The bluebell bulbs are 3 year old bulbs, and they range in size and shape (our picture is a guide, but they are usually around 18-25mm in length). Please note this product is not to be confused with harebell which some people call ‘Scottish bluebell’.
Our Scottish Bluebells are true native bluebells grown from seed collected from our Scottish Woodlands. The bulbs are brought on in our nursery and we have a planting out area for these plants. We are able to provide site locations of the sourced stock if required. The bulbs need to be planted between September and the end of November.
Please note that some bulbs, when planted in autumn, many not always flower the next spring, but instead come up as green leaves. If they miss one year, they will flower the following year.
Price quoted per individual bulb. This product has a minimum quantity of 20 bluebells. For orders over 2000 bluebells please contact us as we can arrange a bespoke quotation. The bulbs will be sent out as soon as they are ready.
All our plants are native British wildflowers grown from wild seed in our sustainable peat free nursery.

Bluebells will thrive in full, or partial shade. They do very well under deciduous trees and long-term they may require uplifting and sorting to maintain the stock. |
